Hvad betyder CBD?

What does CBD stand for?

CBD stands for cannabidiol and is a natural cannabinoid found in cannabis and hemp plants. It is not psychoactive and therefore does not cause intoxication – unlike the more well-known THC.

CBD is especially known from products such as oils, creams, and flowers, but at GreenWeed, we work with it as part of natural hemp flowers, where the focus is still on origin, appearance, and quality rather than ingestion.

Is CBD legal in Denmark?

Yes – under certain conditions. In Denmark, CBD products may be sold as long as they do not exceed the legal limit for THC and are not marketed as food supplements, medicine, or for ingestion. Therefore, at GreenWeed, we offer natural CBD-containing flower products that are legal as collectibles, scent products, or for decoration.

CBD and hemp – not the same as THC

It is important to understand that CBD and THC are two vastly different substances. While THC has an intoxicating effect, CBD is not psychoactive and is increasingly used in products focusing on naturalness and balance.

CBD is typically extracted from hemp plants, which are specially bred to contain very low THC and high CBD.

Why is CBD popular?

Many seek CBD products for the following reasons:

  • Interest in natural cannabinoids
  • Desire for products without intoxication or synthetic additives
  • Appreciation for transparency and documented origin
  • See CBD as part of a plant-based lifestyle

At GreenWeed, we do not sell oils or food supplements – but natural flowers where CBD appears as a natural part of the plant, along with other cannabinoids like THCA.
